TASKING: CAMERA PLATFORMS, OPS VESSEL AND SAFETY CREWS

The Ontario Provincial Police ( OPP) S.A.V.E. Teams stand for Snow-Vehicle, All Terrain Vehicle and Vessel Enforcement. They focus on those who enjoy the great outdoors; folks who boat, snowmobile and enjoy ATV’s. With three teams, one in Orillia, North Bay and Odessa ( Kingston area), the S.A.V.E. Teams’ mission is to educate, enforce and train. Each S.A.V.E team has a staff of 6 and their resources include 3 vessels, 6 snowmobiles, and 6 A.T.V.’s with the attendant support equipment.

For Cold Water Boot Camp, the S.A.V.E. team were dispatched to assist with the important role of providing the Operational vessels and crews to ensure the safety of the Boot Campers.
