Alice Musto / British Columbia

Alice Musto lives in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Most of her daily activities, whether pleasure or professional, take place on or near cold waters of the Georgia Strait. During the day Alice works on the docks and water with Desolation Sound Yacht Charters, one of the foremost charter companies on the West Coast of Canada. Recreationally Alice’s life centres around the outdoors.She is an avid skier, sailor, mountain biker, hiker, and kayaker. She admits that some of these adventure sports were enjoyed without adequate safety equipment. Particulary when skiing in the back country or sailing without a lifejacket. After Cold Water Boot Camp Alice's awareness of the dangers of cold and the necessity of safety gear has drastically increased.
