Ginette Traversy / Alberta /Quebec
Ginette is a certified Firefighter/EMT and a member of Search and Rescue. She owned and operated Approach Outdoor Education.(www.approacheducation.com) which runs survival courses,CPR/First Aid courses, First Responder First Aid as well as Wilderness and Remote First Responder courses.

Professionally, Ginette teaches a wide range of first aid, firefighting and safety courses to corporate clients and individuals throughout Canada. She is also a certified instructor for Red Cross First Aid Services and the Canada Safety Council.

Ginette is an active outdoor enthusiast who spends much of her free time scuba diving, hiking, backpacking, climbing, and horseback riding in the Rocky Mountains. This year she participated in her first triathlon and running her second marathon. After 15 years living in Alberta, Ginette is very excited to return home to Quebec where she will be able to do more scuba diving. Her son would describe her as a lifetime volunteer and a person who never ceases to amaze him with her involvement and passion to learn and share her experiences.
